“LET SHEDEUR GO”: 2x Super Bowl Champion Makes Urgent Plea To Cleveland About Shedeur Sanders’ Future

Shedeur Sanders’ story at Cleveland is taking many twists and turns, and the latest appears to be around a possible departure from the franchise, as former NFL players seem to support the stance that he would be a starter at any other team.

The latest to voice his support for Sanders’ departure from the Browns is two-time Super Bowl Champion LeSean McCoy, who feels the young QB has the qualities to play more for another NFL team and can really show his true qualities.

“LET SHEDEUR GO. HE’S A STARTER,” McCoy exclaimed on Speakeasy.

“I think sometimes because he’s at Cleveland, they don’t win, they don’t do much good things in football, and then you bring in Deshaun Watson… you’re not gonna see Shedeur like we want to. Let him go to a team where he’s running the show.

“The kid is a superstar in this league, and he just needs the opportunity to show it. The few flashes that we’ve seen last year as a true rookie, and all the stuff he dealt with, with the coach and add Dillon Gabriel actually thinking he was gonna be NFL player for more than three years, now if you put Shedeur Sanders on a real team, get him some real coaching and some support behind him, bro, who knows?”

Dez Bryant Shares McCoy’s Feelings About Sanders

Another former NFL player spoke out in support of Shedeur Sanders leaving the Browns, with Dez Bryant claiming he will be a good fit at the New Orleans Saints.

“I think he’s a franchise QB and getting him out of Cleveland will be a plus for him… the Saints would be a great fit for him!” Bryant said.

It remains to be seen what happens, but it’s clear Shedeur has the backing of several former pros as his career takes off.
