If there is a wide receiver that Bo Nix constantly relies on, it is Courtland Sutton. He has been consistent for the Denver Broncos, and there is no doubt the team will look to him to help on offense against the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round playoff game on Saturday. However, is he injured, and will he play?
There are only four players listed in the Broncos’ final injury report ahead of Saturday’s big game, and Sutton was not one of them. He is healthy and will feature in the divisional round.
He has had a great season so far, with 74 receptions on 124 targets for 1,017 yards. He has also caught seven touchdown passes already, and has rushed for 21 yards on five carries. He has yet to miss a game this season.
However, the Broncos will be without two players: linebacker Drew Sanders is out with an ankle injury, and tight end Lucas Krull is out with a foot injury. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw is expected to return from a hamstring injury.
How Much is Courtland Sutton Making While Playing For the Denver Broncos?
With him being the top wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, the No. 1 team in the AFC, Courtland Sutton is making bank. He has a long-term contract with the team, having just signed a four-year extension in July.
This extension is reportedly worth $92 million and will net Courtland Sutton an average of $23 million per year. He is not among the highest-paid wide receivers in the league, but this contract is still very big.
Sutton has been with the Broncos since the team drafted him in the second round in 2018. He has formed quite the chemistry with Bo Nix over the last two seasons, having racked up 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns on 81 receptions last season.
