‘Big Win for Josh Allen’: Fans React As Bills Gear Up to Add DJ Moore to WR Depth Chart in Exciting Bears Trade

DJ Moore’s time with the Chicago Bears has come to an end.

The Bears acquired Moore from the Carolina Panthers prior to the 2023 season in a blockbuster trade and and spent the last three seasons with Chicago. With rumors of the team moving on from Moore this offseason, they did so, by agreeing to trade him to the Buffalo Bills for a second-round pick. They also got a fifth-round pick in return.

The Bills, who have needed receiver help since Stefon Diggs’ departure, got a receiver who is expected to be a primary target for quarterback Josh Allen this season, and fans are hyped about the acquisition.

“Big win for Josh Allen,” one fan said about the acquisition.

“DJ Moore to Buffalo is a move that makes the Bills genuinely scary. Josh Allen with a receiver of that caliber on the outside changes everything. Chicago is rebuilding anyway and Buffalo is pushing their championship window right now. Both sides win here,” an optimistic fan replied.

“If it gets done, that is a huge move for the Buffalo Bills. DJ Moore with Josh Allen would instantly change the look of that offense,” a fan replied.

“BILLS SUPER BOWL 2027 GET UPPPP,” a bold fan replied following the trade.

“Big move if it goes through! D.J. Moore joining the Buffalo Bills could give them a serious boost at wide receiver,” a fan said.

Buffalo Bills Got A Much-Needed Boost At WR Acquiring DJ Moore

The Buffalo Bills have gone the last two seasons without a 1,000-yard receiver.
Wide receiver Khalil Shakir has led the team in receiving yards in each of the last two seasons but hasn’t surpassed 821 receiving yards in either season. He also hasn’t caught more than four touchdowns in the last two seasons.
DJ Moore had the least productive season of his NFL career last season, recording just 50 receptions for 682 yards and six touchdowns. He did record four 1,000-yard seasons in the first six seasons of his NFL career but has failed to do so in each of the last two seasons.
If Moore can turn back the hands of time and be as productive as he once was early on in his career, then it will be a great add to the Bills’ WR core this season.
