‘Obsessed With Keeping Other Men Happy’: Fans React As Dianna Russinni’s Note to Patriots Insider Goes Viral Amid Mike Vrabel Scandal

Fred Toettcher, the lead host of the morning show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, shared an old handwritten note from former The Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini via Instagram on Friday. The note was sent in August 2025 along with pastries from Mike’s Pastry.

“As a woman in sports, it’s also my job to make sure men are well fed. Thanks for your support. Best, Dianna,” the note read.

NFL fans reacted in the comments section.

“Lol, she’s kinda weird,” one fan wrote. “Why is she obsessed with making other men happy? It is not her job to keep the men fed, besides her own husband.”

    Another joked:

“You guys should refer to Russini as a ‘Vrabel insider.’”

    A third fan commented:

    “Well ‘fed’ LOL.”

The story behind the note goes back to August, when Toucher and co-host Rob “Hardy” Poole played clips from Russini’s podcast “Scoop City” and made fun of her interview style. The highlight was an awkward plug during an interview with Kevin O’Connell.

In response, Russini sent pastries from Mike’s Pastry to the radio station as a joke.

The note took on a much more cynical meaning after Page Six shared intimate photos of Russini and Vrabel on April 7 from the Ambiente Sedona resort in Arizona. In the pictures, they held hands, hugged and hung out together in a pool and hot tub.

On April 14, Russini resigned from The Athletic after an internal review by The New York Times Company.

On April 23, more photos from March 2020 were leaked, where Russini and Vrabel seemingly were kissing at Tribeca Tavern in New York City.

Vrabel first called the rumors “laughable,” but later stepped away during the 2026 NFL Draft to focus on family. He returned to work at Gillette Stadium on April 27.

On May 7, TMZ released a June 2021 video showing Russini and Vrabel renting a private boat together in Tennessee. Back then, Vrabel was the head coach of Tennessee Titans and Russini was seven months pregnant with her first son, Michael.
