The Chicago Bears of DJ Moore are taking on the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday night, for a chance to play in the NFC championship game against the Seattle Seahawks next week. The game is being played in the frigid Soldier Field and represents the first chance for the team from the Windy City to appear in the NFC championship game since 2010.
Nobody is readier to watch the encounter between the Bears and the Tigers than Moore’s toddler son, Chi. His mother, Raven Moore, published a heartwarming Instagram story ahead of the postseason encounter. The image shows him wearing a bear onesie with a Chicago jersey. It also includes the following caption:
“Bear Down,”
Chi is the youngest of three for the couple, having been born in 2025. They also have another boy, by the name of Denniston Oliver Moore III, who was born in 2023. Their daughter Arielle Melody is the oldest, being from 2019.
This is Moore’s first postseason appearance, as he was with the Carolina Panthers between 2018 and 2022. Then in 2023, 2024 and 2025, the Bears failed to make the NFL Playoffs. While it’s been a highlight of his career to make the postseason, this has actually been the least productive season in his career.
In 2025, he recorded 682 receiving yards, with six touchdown catches in fifty receptions. He has been targeted 85 times and also has had one fumble. His career-best season came during his first year with Chicago, in 2023. That year, DJ Moore recorded a total of 1364 receiving yards, with eight touchdowns (both career highs) in 96 catches (second most in his career). That year, he was targeted 136 times (third most in his career).
DJ Moore Scores Important Touchdown to Tie Divisional Round Encounter at Soldier Field
The game between the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams at a frozen Soldier Field has been a game of defense, with both teams having scored just one touchdown. The first to strike was the Rams with a rushing touchdown from running back Kyren Williams in the first quarter of the game. The play came halfway through the quarter, with Williams rushing for four yards.
Moore was key in bringing the Bears back into the game, so to speak, scoring a touchdown from a short three-yard pass from quarterback Caleb Williams. The play gave Chicago the chance of taking the lead shortly before halftime, scoring a 48-yard field goal shortly after the two-minute warning. Nonetheless, the Rams equalled the feat, scoring a 32-yard touchdown in the last seconds of the half, tying the game 10-10.
