Christian Watson’s health has been the No. 1 storyline plaguing him throughout his NFL career. However, when fit, the receiver has proven an asset to the Green Bay Packers’ offense. His availability could be a big factor in how Green Bay does against the Chicago Bears on Saturday night.
Here’s a look at Watson’s health and whether you can expect him to be on the field to take on Caleb Williams’ squad.
Christian Watson Status
Christian Watson is not listed on the injury report and is expected to suit up against Chicago. Watson has stayed fit since he returned to the lineup on Oct. 26.
Watson missed the first seven weeks as he rehabbed a torn ACL, but has been a mainstay of the Packers’ offense since his return.
Watson has logged 35 catches for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games.
Packers Offense Faces Potential Injury Trouble In Wild Card Round
While Christian Watson is set to play, other members of the Packers’ offense could miss the game.
Offensive tackle Zach Tom is dealing with back and knee injuries, and his status is questionable, according to the official Green Bay Packers injury report.
Wide receivers Dontayvion Wicks and Savion Williams are also trending toward missing the contest, with Williams already declared out and Wicks listed as doubtful.
On the plus side, Green Bay will get back Jayden Reed, who was taken off the injury report after being listed with an illness.
