‘O Aura Infinity Picks’ ‘Bryce Young’: Fans React As Texans QB CJ Stroud Gets Rid of Deadlocks for Transformative Look

Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud had a terrible ending to his 2025 season but he’s getting rid of something well before the next season comes around. Stroud threw four interceptions in a crucial divisional round playoff game against the New England Patriots, playing a major part in the Texans’ 28-16 loss.

On Tuesday, Stroud’s new look hit the internet and fans couldn’t keep calm. The Texans quarterback has traded his signature dreadlocks for a clean, sharp new hairstyle. Stroud’s famous deadlocks have been noticed since his time in college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In a series of images, Stroud can be seen getting a haircut with a crisp fade.

Fans reacted with interesting comments over the new look adopted by the quarterback.

“0 aura / infinity picks,” one fan wrote.

“Bro was getting sick and tired of it 😭,” another fan added.

“🥷 thought the locs was the problem 😭” one fan commented.

“Still the worst QB in playoff history, we see you dawg, dreadlocks or not,” another added.

“Cant wait for people to start making fun of this for absolutely no reason,” one fan reacted.

Some fans compared CJ Stroud with Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young.

“Is that Bryce Young !!!” one fan said.

“Looks like Bryce Young now,” another added.

CJ Stroud Took Responsibility For Bitter-Ending Of Fine Season

The Texans qualified as the wild card in the playoffs after finishing the season with a 13-6 record. They finished behind the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC South division. Stroud was a major reason for such a finish and he even led the team to a 30-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card matchup.

However, in the divisional round against the Patriots, he faltered, completing just 20 of 47 passes for one touchdown and four interceptions. After the heartbreaking loss, Stroud shouldered the blame for his performance.

“I think when (the interceptions) started to pile up, I tried my best just to stay locked in, in the spirit, and realizing I’ve just got to be there for my teammates, and they encouraged me a lot through it,” Stroud said after the loss. “I’m really appreciative of this team and them doing that because they didn’t have to. But yeah, it was not easy. It’s something that I’m going to learn from. I’m just grateful my teammates were picking me up.”

Despite the setback, it appears Stroud is in the right spirits already and could go deep next season as well.
