Andy Reid remained tight-lipped when asked about the reported wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during an appearance on John Middlekauff’s “3 & Out” podcast on Friday.
When Middlekauff asked whether a wedding invitation had arrived in the mail, Reid replied,
“I can’t talk about it.”
Middlekauff then joked,
“No, gotta stay quiet. It’s like Mansoor Delaine, you know, loose lips sink ships.”
Reportedly, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will get married on July 3 in New York City, which is before the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp begins on July 22.
Long before Kelce tried to pass Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at her Eras Tour concert (July 8, 2023) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, Andy Reid already knew the Swift family.
During his 14-year tenure coaching the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid met a young Swift through her father, Scott Swift, who is a massive, lifelong NFL fan.
“I knew her from Philadelphia. Her dad was a big NFL fan… So I had met her when she was real young, and her dad,” Andy Reid on OutKick’s “The Five Spot” on Oct. 17, 2023.
Reid also addressed the wedding speculation during a May 14 appearance on “The Drive” on Kansas City’s 96.5 The Fan, when he was asked whether he had secured a spot on the reportedly exclusive guest list.
“I probably have [received an invite],” he said. “If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going.”
He added that regardless of the massive media circus, he is just incredibly happy for Kelce and Swift because “they’re in love, and that’s the most important thing.”
Andy Reid was hired as the 13th head coach in Kansas City Chiefs history on January 7, 2013.
Just months after taking the job in 2013, Reid draft-selected Travis Kelce in the third round of the NFL Draft. Together, Reid and Kelce have won 3 Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sept. 24, 2023, Reid took credit for setting Kelce with Swift during a post-game press conference right after the pop icon made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs play the Chicago Bears.
“I’ve met her before… I set them up,” the Chiefs coach said to a reporter.
Speaking about the wedding guest-list, Swift’s long-time best friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly not invited. The fallout arose from an ongoing, federal lawsuit involving Lively and her “It Ends With Us” co-star/director, Justin Baldoni.
On the other hand, TMZ reported on June 2 that Swift’s long-time estranged former best friend Karlie Kloss has received an invitation.
Reportedly, Swift and Kelce hired celebrity event designer Rishi Patel to design their wedding. Celebrity gossip platform DeuxMoi posted the news on May 13.

Kylie Kelce lost her patience with the media and fans, who tried prying into Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding plans.
During April 2 episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie did not hold back.
“I just want to say to literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always,” she said. “But quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f***ing telling you anything. I don’t have any details… None.”
She also called out outlets like TMZ, labeling them “creeps in the f*ing airport,” and established a very clear new policy for anyone who keeps pushing:
“My new answer: ‘Suck my a**.’ I’m gonna get a headband with LED lights and it’s gonna say, ‘Suck my a**,’ and I’m just gonna have a little button and it’s gonna turn on the second someone asks about it.”
Kylie got triggered after paparazzi cornered her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, at LAX in late March to ask intrusive questions about the wedding.
