It may be a few days removed from the wedding between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, but more and more information has been coming out from that closed-door event in New York City. While it is now known that actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealed that the comedian had plenty to say to the couple.
Reid appeared at an event in Salt Lake City the day after the wedding and talked about Sander’s officiating, noting that the Wedding Singer star did a “phenomenal” job. He also revealed that Sandler had an important piece of advice for the newlyweds.
“He told them, ‘Keep kissing,’” the coach said. “So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing. It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss. And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems.”
The entire Kansas City Chiefs squad, with the reported exception of kicker Harrison Butker, was present at Madison Square Garden for the wedding, including Reid. Several big names from sports and music were there, from the New York Knicks starting lineup to music legend Sir Paul McCartney.
If anybody knows about keeping a marriage going, it should be Adam Sandler as he and his wife, Jackie, have been married for over 20 years, tying the knot back in 2003 and sharing two daughters, Sunny and Sadie, both of whom are friends of Taylor Swift.
Performers At Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift’s Wedding Included Paul McCartney And Stevie Nicks
Taylor Swift is considered one of music’s biggest acts, so nothing less than some of the biggest legends from the music industry would do, as it was revealed that none other than Beatles legend Paul McCartney performed on stage after they tied the knot. He reportedly performed the Fab Four’s hit song, I Want to Hold Your Hand.
Stevie Nicks, who Taylor Swift reportedly teased would perform at her wedding when she appeared wearing a T-shirt that said Stevie Knicks during Game 4 of the NBA Finals, did perform at the event as well, proving the speculation true.
