“Never Considered Possible”: Analyst Reacts to Marcel Reed’s Special Moment With Lionel Messi

Kyle Field, home of the Texas A&M Aggies, was the site of an exhibition soccer match between Argentina and Honduras, with the legendary Lionel Messi leading the Argentinians to a 2-0 win. He then met up with Texas A&M QB Marcel Reed after the game, the moment went viral and caught attention of various fans and analyst.

“This world cup giving us sentences we never considered possible. Marcel Reed gives his jersey to Lionel Messi.” – wrote Barstool Sports analyst Jack Mack.

The two stars had a brief exchange after the game and Reed also gifted the soccer star a signed maroon No. 10 Aggies jersey. Many fans poked fun at it, as Reed is lesser-known of the two and many people felt that Messi might have no idea who he is. Many even felt that the gesture might have been disrespectful to the Argentinian legend, who led his country to a World Cup in Qatar previously.

Horton is expected to also help spread opposing defenses more because of his size, giving more room for Mario Craver and the running backs to take action.
