Deion Sanders is getting ready for a new season of college football with the Colorado Buffaloes, and as the team prepares for fall camp before the campaign kicks off officially, he took the opportunity to share a message with his players.
In a post on X, Sanders said he misses his kids, referring to the players on the Colorado Buffaloes football team, rather than his biological children. Sanders also said he can’t wait to be back on the field as the off-season comes to an end and a new season begins.
“Lord Jesus I miss my kids! I’m talking about my Team. @CUBuffsFootball Fellows I can’t wait to see y’all at camp. That’s 1st week it’s gonna be ON! #CoachPrime Check in with an Amen,” Sanders wrote on X.
While exact dates for fall practice are yet to be announced officially, last year’s camp took place towards the end of July and is expected to be held at the same time this year. Coach Prime and his entire Colorado coaching staff will have the opportunity to analyze and examine each player’s talents as they decide who starts regularly once the new campaign begins.
Deion Sanders Explains Why He Might Be Missing From EA Sports College Football 27
During the Big 12 media days, Deion Sanders was asked about why he hasn’t been featured in the EA Sports College Football games lately, and had a clear answer.
“I don’t know about the video game,” Sanders told reporters.
“I have a wonderful team that handles a lot of business for me. If I’m not in the game, that means they weren’t paying enough. It didn’t fit where we’re going right now. That’s probably it. It was probably that simplistic.”
Regardless of his absence in the game, fans will have a chance to see him on the sidelines as fall practice begins soon at Colorado.
