NBA fans were unhappy with the sight of Tacko Fall in the 2026 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. The 7-foot-6 former Boston Celtics backup big man towered over everybody and caused a buzz when he opened for Team Giannis as the point guard.
Fall easily scored the first basket for Antetokounmpo’s team by driving to the basket. He was momentarily tied up but effortlessly dunked the ball once he recovered it.
Fall wasn’t the only former NBA player in the 2026 NBA Celebrity Game. Team Giannis also had Jeremy Lin, while Jason “White Chocolate” Williams played for Team Anderson. Still, Fall’s inclusion was criticized because he has been playing pro basketball overseas, and his frame made him virtually unstoppable.
Fans reacted to Fall’s appearance in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. One fan said:
“Why is Tacko Fall in celebrity game?”
Another fan added:
“They got 8 foot tall Tacko Fall just dunking over everyone.”
One more fan commented:
“Fall is so unfair. Lol.”
Another fan continued:
“Tacko Fall playing is cheating.”
One fan tweeted:
“I love Tacko Fall as much as the next guy, but he’s single-handedly ruining the celeb All-Star game.”
Coach Giannis Antetokounmpo is the only one who could stop Fall from dominating the celebrity showdown.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Tells Tacko Fall To Play “Like Shaq” Instead of “Like Wemby”
Already unstoppable, particularly if he gets in the paint, Giannis Antetokounmpo gave Tacko Fall sound advice. After Fall sat down for a few minutes, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar called back the towering big man to return to the floor.
Before re-entering, Antetokounmpo told Fall:
“Quit trying to be like Wemby, be like Shaq.”
Fall likely knew he was too much of a mismatch, prompting him to stay outside the paint more and handle the ball like San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama.
If Fall started the game like Shaq, who thrived in the paint, the NBA Celebrity Game might be over before it started.
