Dylan Wang received one of the biggest cheers from the fans inside the Kia Forum for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game introductions. Even before taking the court, he already caused a buzz on the sidelines by holding a TikTok video with Cortis, a K-Pop group.
Born Wang Hedi, the Chinese actor and singer shot to fame as Daoming Si in “Meteor Garden,” a 2018 television series. The hit production started in China before it became available worldwide via Netflix, which aired the show from October 2018 to December 2024.
Dylan Wang also starred in “Love in Between Fairy and Devil,” another television series, where he played the character Dongfang Xingcang. In 2024, he dabbled in drama as Xu Qi’an in “Guardians of the Dafeng.”
In that same year, Wang, reportedly a diehard LeBron James fan, took his talents to Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Under NFL legend Shannon Sharpe, Wang helped his team to a 100-91 win over Stephen A. Smith’s group. During the matchup, Sharpe’s perimeter pairing of Wang and streamer Kai Cenat entertained the fans.
Last year, Dylan Wang did two films: “I Dreamed a Dream” and “Live Long and Prosper.” This year, he is back on a basketball court for another shot at glory at the 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
