What Are The KD Files? Closer Look as Kevin Durant Faces Heat With Alleged New X Burner

Shortly before the festivities on All-Star Sunday tipped off, NBA fans whipped up a storm on social media as a Kevin Durant burner account was allegedly discovered. When an X user going by the handle @saeedemon25 posted screenshots from an account called getoffmydickerson, other netizens started echoing the claim that it was none other than the Houston Rockets superstar behind the explosive tweets of this “burner.”

As fans pored over screenshots supposedly sent by the getoffmydickerson account, they spotted mentions of various NBA personalities: Durant’s former teammates James Harden, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green; his Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, and his current running mates Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith. The tweets range from sentimental to downright hostile.

“I miss James man. That’s a good n**ga,” one message read, presumably referring to James Harden. “Slightly delusional but I understand him.”

“If you don’t screen and pass up shots for Steph. U gettin waived,” another message read.

One more message, apparently aimed at Durant’s Rockets teammate Jabari Smith, went: “Jabari is a lost cause. He’ll never be good”

Back in the late 2010s, Kevin Durant admitted to creating burner accounts so that he could converse with friends without anyone else “taking everything out of context.”

For what it’s worth, YouTube personality N3on (who has collaborated with Durant in the past) has come to KD’s defense.

“He would never do some s*** like that. It’s not the type of guy he is.”

Still, fans won’t be able to stop thinking about possibly having access to the inner thoughts of an all-time NBA great.

“I Swear I Miss Him”: 3x All-Star Gets Name-Dropped Amidst Wave of “Kevin Durant Files”

Even Ben Simmons, a three-time NBA All-Star who has not played in the league this season, found himself name-dropped as the “Kevin Durant files” went viral.

One screenshot from the getoffmydickerson account supposedly shows Durant reminiscing about his time playing with Simmons in Brooklyn.

“I swear I miss Ben Simmons. Least that n**ga would give me the ball.”

Simmons and Durant did not get to spend plenty of time together on the court, as Simmons was hounded by injuries during his stint with the Nets and Durant would be traded to the Phoenix Suns in 2023.
