Nike has announced another addition to their ‘Warning Label’ campaign for San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama. The shoe is set to release on February 13, as part of the brand’s 2026 NBA All-Star collection. Teasing the release, the Spurs center posted a video of the shoe, GT Cut 4, on social media.
Wemby has had another stellar season that earned him another All-Star selection, averaging 24.2 points and 11.1 rebounds. He has propelled the Spurs to be a strong playoff contender this season, as the front office made no moves during the midseason trade period, showcasing its trust in the squad.
The 7-foot-4 center shared his new NBA All-Star shoe on social media, which was reposted by a Spurs analyst on X.
Like other ‘Warning Label’ category shoes that include Book 2, Sabrina 3, and others, the shoe features a shiny look in blue and pink colors and Wemby’s alien motif on the heel. The expected release price of the model might be somewhere around $210.
Wembanyama has yet to get a signature shoe with Nike, which has often sparked fans on social media. The Spurs have had an impressive run this season with a 35-16 record and are ranked second in a stacked Western Conference.
“We’re on the same page,” Victor Wembanyama opens up on the Spurs’ quiet trade period
Although there were rumors that the Spurs were allegedly getting involved in trade talks, the front office has decided to stay put with the same squad for another season. While the starters are in form and sync with each other, Luke Kornet and Stephon Castle have provided some crucial minutes and points off the bench.
When asked about his thoughts on the Spurs not being involved in any trade, Victor Wembanyama said:
“If there’s any message to be taken from it is that we trust who we are. We trust the process. And what I love is that the front office trusts these guys, just like I do. So we’re on the same page.”
There is no reason to doubt a squad that has worked perfectly thus far. In times of need, Castle and other youngsters have risen to the occasion, making some brilliant clutch plays. The 2024 draft’s fourth overall pick has been relentless on the defensive end and is known for his hustle plays in the paint, grabbing rebounds.
In the Spurs’ last game against the Mavs, Victor Wembanyama stuffed the stat sheet with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Every starter scored in double digits, as the team registered its third consecutive win, 135-123.
