Toronto Raptors vs Cleveland Cavaliers Preview and Prediction

The Cleveland Cavaliers came out strong, taking a 2-0 lead in the series with convincing wins over the Toronto Raptors, 126-113 and 115-105 on Apr. 17 and Apr. 20. With such dominant scorelines, it felt like the series might be over quickly, with Cleveland in full control.

But Toronto had other plans. The Raptors bounced back in a big way at home, winning the next two games to even things up. Scottie Barnes was the biggest difference maker in those games, averaging 28.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Toronto won Game 3 by a wide margin, 126-104, before escaping narrowly with a 93-89 victory in Game 4.

However, Cleveland remains a tough team to beat on their home court. They posted a strong 29-14 record across the regular season and playoffs. Additionally, they only had two three-game losing streaks all season, which speaks to their consistency.

Toronto clearly has momentum and won’t go down easily, but Cleveland’s home advantage could make the difference in Game 5.

Prediction: Expect the Cavaliers to win by 3 points.
