New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby performed partial splits on the ESPYs stage, leaving Jalen Brunson and everyone in attendance cracking up. Anunoby was showered with “OG” chants as he approached the mic, which seemed to be too low for him.
Midway through his monologue, Anunoby split his legs slightly to get more comfortable. The cameras zoomed in on Brunson, who was among those laughing hysterically.
Fans on X pointed to reactions from Brunson and other Knicks players, while lauding Anunoby for unintentionally being funny.

The ESPYs were all about the New York Knicks, with five award wins. Jalen Brunson claimed three awards, winning the “Best Male Athlete,” “Best Championship Performance,” and “Best NBA Player” honors. Meanwhile, OG Anunoby won the “Best Play” award for his Game 4 winner in the 2026 NBA Finals.
The New York Knicks capped off their night with the “Best Team” recognition.
It was just that kind of year for New York after a phenomenal run to the title, which started with overcoming a 2-1 deficit against the Atlanta Hawks in round one. The Knicks flipped a switch after that point, winning 13 consecutive games and posting a 15-1 overall record after their second loss to Atlanta.
That included consecutive playoff series sweeps over Philadelphia and Cleveland, and a 4-1 win over the San Antonio Spurs in the finals, despite playing as the road team.
Jalen Brunson averaged 28.4 points, 6.1 assists and 1.2 steals in the playoffs. He shot 46.5% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range. Brunson racked up several clutch performances, cementing his case for three ESPY wins.
