Everything that can go wrong with Nikola Jokic has happened in this postseason, including his underwear going missing. Yes, you heard it right! After the Denver Nuggets’ Game 4 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Round 1 of the NBA playoffs, he was reported to be searching for his undergarments. And fans had a field day making all sorts of assumptions in comments.
The Nuggets lost 96-112 in Game 4, in which Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo went out of the game due to a knee injury and a torn Achilles, respectively. Ayo Dosunmu became the star, scoring 43 points in 42 minutes. He shot 13-17 from the field and made all five of his 3-pointers. But that didn’t excite fans as much as what came after the game.
NBA Base shared an update about Joker’s underwear, via Jason Quick of The Athletic, and wrote:
“Nikola Jokic was reportedly “alarmed, panicked, and irritated” after realizing someone had STOLEN his underwear following the Nuggets’ Game 4 loss, frantically announcing to the locker room: “Someone stole my underwear.””
Fans quickly turned it into a troll fest, as one even brought up the post-game scuffle between the 3-time NBA MVP and Jaden McDaniels and wrote:
“The length Jaden McDaniels will go to”
Another wrote:
“Nah you joined that side too?”
One more fan mocked Jokic’s update and commented:
“Lmao no way this is real, homie couldn’t find a new underwear after shitting the bed im crying”
Another user joked about the situation and wrote:
“What the heck? I’m his underwear {underwear emoji} {laughing emoji} is bro ok?”

The Nuggets are in a 1-3 hole, and recovery would be tough, if not impossible. However, the absence of superstar Ant-Man might make things a bit easier for the 2023 NBA champions.
“I just seen someone who was big as hell,” Jaden McDaniels after scuffle with Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic and Jaden McDaniels began throwing hands at each other after the Wolves forward broke an unwritten rule. At the end of Game 4, the Nuggets were down 14 points in the last seconds, waiting at the other side of the court to let the clock run out, when McDaniels took a lay-up shot.
Usually, when a team has a commanding lead in a game, they let the clock run out in the final seconds without attacking the basket as a mark of sportsmanship. However, when Joker saw McDaniels taking the easy shot, he ran up to him to confront and attack him. The scuffle gradually grew as several staff members and players got involved.
Jokic and Julius Randle were ejected from the game, as McDaniels addressed the issue post-game and said:
“I just seen someone who was big as hell.”
McDaniels earlier called the Nuggets “bad defenders,” igniting the feud. However, in terms of sport, the Wolves are way ahead of the Nuggets, looking to seal their spot in Round 2.
