Paul Pierce Makes Michael Jordan GOAT Argument Over LeBron James’ Free Agency Decision

Paul Pierce and his podcast crew are one of the most vocal contributors to the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The former NBA player-turned-analyst is a known supporter of Jordan’s case, and once again, he has come up with another scenario for King James’ current free-agency prospects in relation to the GOAT debate.

James’ management is reportedly in contact with multiple teams where the four-time NBA champion would like to extend his run for a fifth title. The Philadelphia 76ers are also one of them. One of the most important factors would be the package that the franchise could give him.

However, Pierce believed that it would only decrease the value of his next title, and “if LeBron goes to Philly, it totally takes him out of the GOAT debate.” He said:

“No player that we consider that’s been in a GOAT debate has been a fourth option. No, seriously. Like Jordan, even when he went to the Wizards, was still the first option. Kareem was second option. Magic. Like when we start having these debates about the GOAT and we say, we’ll, you know, Philly won a championship, but he was fourth option. He has five rings but fourth and fifth option, like so it’ll do something to his legacy. I really believe that.”

Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey look like a pretty good package if Bron wants to see another ring on his hand. If he’s a fourth option, he’ll still have the chance to be the one to bring the championship to Philly after 1983. However, nothing is confirmed yet.

Jaylen Brown allegedly asks LeBron James to pull up to Philly

Jaylen Brown was recently featured beside YouTube creator IShowSpeed when the two were seen attending the France vs. Morocco quarterfinals match. During a conversation during the match, Brown asked Speed to tell LeBron to pull up, and the creator went on to plead the case and said:

    “LeBron, pull up to Philly”

However, Speed’s content mainly features hilarious takes and actions; fans should not take his plea seriously. LeBron James is taking it easy for now and not rushing into any decision. Meanwhile, the NBA world is full of speculation over his next destination.
