    NBA Shooting Stars Preview, Prediction, Odds, Where to Watch and More | 2026 NBA All-Star Saturday

    The NBA All-Star weekend used to feature the Skills Challenge, which has now changed to the Shooting Stars competition and will be held on Saturday, February 14, at Intuit Dome. The league continuously strives to improve the All-Star weekend to make it more interesting for fans.

    After the Rising Stars competition and Celebrity Game, it’s time for NBA players to showcase their shooting skills.

    NBA Shooting Stars Preview

    The 2026 NBA Shooting Stars competition will feature four teams with three players each. They will compete in two rounds, and the top two will play in the finals. Seven shooting spots are decided on the court, and players are awarded points as per the buckets they make from those positions. The point format:

    Right lane layup/dunk – 2 points

    18′ right baseline – 2 points

    Right elbow – 2 points

    Right win 3-pointer – 3 points

    Top of the key – 2 points

    Left corner 3-pointer – 3 points

    Long range 3-pointer – 4 points

    Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors guard-forward

    Chet Holmgren, Oklahoma City Thunder forward-center

    Richard Hamilton, Three-time NBA All-Star

    Team Cameron:

    Jalen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks

    Kon Knueppel of the Charlotte Hornets

    Corey Maggette, Former 14-year NBA veteran

    Team Harper:

    Ron Harper Sr., Five-time NBA champion

    Allan Houston, who made two NBA All-Star teams with New York and now serves as its Vice President of Player Leadership & Development.

    While Team All-Star consists of two talented youngsters and a veteran, Team Cameron is filled with shooting talents. Jalen Johnson and Kon Knueppel have led their teams this season and are well-versed in shooting abilities from every spot.

    Team Harper is a family affair with the veteran father and his two young and talented sons. Team Knicks’ shooting skills are second to none, with Burnson and KAT taking the charge with a veteran Houston.
