NBA Draft Combine Measurements: Top 5 Prospects’ Height, Weight, Wingspan and More

The NBA draft combine’s measurements were released after Monday’s workouts. AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and other top prospects receieved their official measurements. Most of them stood out with their impressive measurements across the board, showing they are physically mature despite their age. That’s how many scouts expected the players to fare in these metrics.

Here’s a look at the measurements for the top five prospects.

NBA Draft Combine Measurements: Top 5 Prospects’ Height, Weight, Wingspan and More

    #1 AJ Dybantsa – BYU

Potential No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa arguably impressed the most with his NBA draft combine measurements. The former BYU star’s height was listed at 6-foot-8.5 barefoot, and he weighed 217 lbs, recorded a wingspan of 7-foot-0.25 and a standing reach of 8-foot-10. Draft expert Jonathan Givony deemed those as “elite” measurements for a wing.

    #2 Darryn Peterson – Kansas

Arguably the best guard prospect in this year’s NBA draft, Darryn Peterson had the physical tools of a comparatively big guard in the pros. The former Kansas star’s recorded height barefoot was 6-foot-4.5. He weighed in at 198.8 lbs, while recording a wingspan of 6-foot-9.75 and a standing reach of 8-foot-7.

    #3 Cam Boozer – Duke

Former Duke big man Cam Boozer’s measurements indicate that he could flourish as one of the better small-ball centers in the NBA. His height was listed at 6-foot-8.25 barefoot, while he weighed 252.8 lbs. Boozer’s wingspan was 7-foot-1.5 and his standing reach was 9-foot.

    #4 Caleb Wilson – UNC

Caleb Wilson’s measurements have improved from two years ago, but he remains on the slimmer side for a true center. He measured at 6-foot-9.25 barefoot and weighed 211 pounds. Wilson recorded a 7-foot-0.25 wingspan and a 9-foot standing reach.

    #5 Keaton Wagler – Illinois

Potential top-five prospect Keaton Wagler was listed at 6-foot-5 barefoot and 188 pounds. His wingspan came in at 6-foot-6.25 with a standing reach of 8-foot-4. Wagler seems tall for a point guard, but his frame is comparatively smaller. He’s also falling short in his wingspan and reach.

Other notable NBA draft combine measurements available:

    Darius Acuff Jr.: Height (barefoot) – 6-foot-2,  Weight – 185.8 lbs, Wingspan – 6-foot-7, Standing Reach – 8-foot-2.5

    Aday Mara: Height (barefoot) – 7-foot-3, Weight – 259.8 lbs, Wingspan – 7-foot-6, Standing Reach – 9-foot-9

    Cam Carr: Height – 6-foot-4.5, Weight – 184.4 lbs, Wingspan – 7-foot-0.75, Standing Reach – 8-foot-8
