The highly anticipated All-Star Weekend tips off on Friday, starting with the 2026 Celebrity All-Star Game to get the celebration underway. As always, the NBA has brought together a stacked lineup of celebrities from around the world, ready to make the exhibition matchup entertaining.
NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2026 Preview and Prediction
This year’s NBA Celebrity All-Star Game 2026 features an exciting matchup between Team Giannis and Team Anthony.
Team Giannis, coached by Giannis Antetokounmpo alongside his brothers Thanasis and Alex, looks like the early favorite. The roster is stacked with names that have real ties to the basketball world, including Jeremy Lin, who averaged 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists over his nine-year NBA career, and Tacko Fall, the 7ft 6” center who is guaranteed to control the paint on both ends of the floor. Even veteran NBA insider Shams Charania adds to the team’s deep connection to the league.
The athleticism does not stop there. Former Brazilian soccer star Cafu and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown give the team speed and physicality. Additionally, Rome Flynn returns after winning the 2025 MVP award, where he put up 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists in last year’s game. That kind of performance makes him a serious threat once again.
Other players include Jenna Bandy (social media/basketball personality), Keegan-Michael Key (actor), Rick Schnall (Hornets Co-Chairman & Governor), Dylan Wang (actor/singer), and Glorilla (rapper).
Team Anthony, coached by Anthony Anderson along with Lethal Shooter and Chris Brickley, certainly has talent of its own. Former NBA guard Jason Williams brings flair and creativity. Keenan Allen of the Los Angeles Chargers and Olympic sprinter Andre De Grasse add high-level athleticism.
Other players include Badshah (Indian rapper), Cody Jones (Dude Perfect founder), Mat Ishbia (Suns Chairman & Governor), Simu Liu (actor), Mustard (multi-Platinum producer), Adrien Nunez (singer/songwriter), Taylor Frankie Paul (reality TV star), and Nicolas Vansteenberghe (reality TV star).
There is no shortage of recognizable names on either side, but when it comes to overall basketball firepower and NBA experience, Team Giannis appears to have the edge heading into the game.
Prediction: Expect Team Giannis to win by 8 points.
