The dunk contest is one of the most exciting competitions on the NBA All-Star weekend, which will begin on February 13. The contest has drawn criticism in recent years due to a lack of participation from NBA players. Chicago Bulls Mac McClung is a three-time back-to-back winner of the NBA dunk contest. And this year’s field is also stacked with talent.
The 2026 NBA dunk contest will feature some high-flying players.
Participants
- Carter Bryant of the San Antonio Spurs
- Jaxson Hayes of the Los Angeles Lakers
- Keshad Johnson of the Miami Heat
- Jase Richardson of the Orlando Magic
The dunk contest 3-peat winner McClung will not participate this year, as he previously informed through social media.
The dunk contest judges will include some reputable previous winners of the earlier editions, including Hall of Famer and two-time winner Dominique Wilkins, 2008 winner Dwight Howard, three-time winner Nate Robinson, and 1996 winner Brent Barry. A fifth judge will also be added to the lineup, who will be selected by fan votes.
