    The Denver Nuggets will look to fight their way back into their first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They will enter Game 5 on Monday with Minnesota holding a 3-1 lead. 

    Anthony Edwards averaged 23.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists through the first three games of this series. He suffered a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee in Game 4 and is expected to miss multiple weeks.

    The Nuggets, meanwhile, have been led by Nikola Jokic, who is averaging 25.0 ppg, 14.5 rpg and 7.8 apg. Jamal Murray is recording 26.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 5.8 apg.

    The Timberwolves won three consecutive games after dropping Game 1 to take a 3-1 series lead. However, Denver has the chance to claw its way back in this series with Anthony Edwards expected to miss multiple weeks with a knee injury.

    The team also lost Donte DiVincenzo in Game 4 after he suffered an Achilles tear. With the home crowd behind them over the next two games, Denver has a fighting chance, but it needs to win three straight to advance.

    Julius Randle is expected to take on a bigger role in Edwards’ absence. Ayo Dosunmu, who finished Game 4 with 43 points, could also be an x-factor.
