Michael Jordan is on a trip to Europe, enjoying his summer with the family. While he visited Sicily and was seen on the streets of the city, his next destination was Milan, Italy, where he met up with popular pop artist Bruno Mars. The six-time NBA champion is rarely seen attending such concerts or engaging in public, which made fans even more surprised at his attendance.
MJ was seen in the crowd during Mars’ concert at the San Siro Stadium. Videos online show Jordan alone listening to music with a drink in his hand, as fans gathered around him to click photos.
The moment was big for someone like the 16-time Grammy Award winner, as he shared a picture with Jordan on Instagram, calling him “the GOAT.” The popstar wrote:
“Backstage In Milan with THE GOAT 🇮🇹”
After the release of his fourth studio album, The Romantic, Mars is on a world tour, and his recent stop was in Milan. His concerts have featured some of the stars of the music industry, like Raye, Victoria Monet and others.
Meanwhile, Jordan, with his wife, Yvette Prieto, son, Marcus, and other family members, was seen delving into luxury on his popular luxury superyacht, M’Brace.
“Michael Jordan single-handedly promoted me,” Kenny Lattimore once hailed R&B fan Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan has been a known fan of R&B music, especially Kenny Lattimore, who once expressed his appreciation of the five-time NBA MVP for promoting him in the league and taking his music to A-listers. He narrated an incident with Air Jordan’s teammate, Charles Barkley, in a conversation with Andscape:
“Michael Jordan single-handedly promoted me through the NBA. I ran into Charles Barkley at a function years ago and he said, ‘Mannn, you know who was hyping you to everybody in the league? Saying that everybody in the NBA had to have your CD … MJ!’ It was so funny to hear that. I had no clue. Charles said, ‘The reason why we really know your music like we know it is because of Michael Jordan.'”
In 2020, Lattimore even shared that he used to send his unreleased songs to Jordan, which he also admitted to listening to during NBA Finals matchups. The music artist once wrote on X:
“In 1998 I sent Michael Jordan an advanced copy of my “From the Soul of Man” album. Who knew “Days Like This” was his pre-game hype song though.”
And now, the legend has applauded Bruno Mars for his latest album. Besides basketball and his luxurious lifestyle, Jordan is also co-owner of NASCAR team 23XI Racing, and he is often seen backing his drivers on the tracks.
