Fans went berserk after a recent Chicago Bulls locker room incident came to light, in connection with Jaden Ivey. The guard is under scrutiny after he expressed anti-gay sentiments in his recent Instagram Live after and the Bulls decided to waive him. He was already suffering from injury issues throughout the season.
In a recent update on social media, it was reported:
“Jaden Ivey reportedly used to ask Bulls reporters if they fornicated before marriage, per @JCowleyHoops”
However, fans quickly pointed out the hypocrisy in his statements, as the guard himself has a longtime girlfriend named Caitlyn Newton, whom he met during his college days at Purdue University. She is a former volleyball player and played for the Purdue Boilermakers. A fan referred to that and said:
“Isn’t he actively fornicating with his girl and they aren’t married? Worried about the wrong shit smh”
Another fan was shocked and wrote:
“man was running a biblical background check on beat reporters before they could get a quote. unprecedented”
Another user called out Ivey’s “creepy” comments and wrote:
“That’s a little creepy, if proven to be true though.”
Another user detailed the bizarreness of the revelation and wrote:

Jaden Ivey has even received support from his Bulls teammate, Josh Giddey, recently. Fans have had mixed reactions to the whole controversy. While some support Ivey for standing up for his beliefs, others called him out for having an orthodox point of view on his statements on the LGBTIA+ community.

Jaden Ivey shared a video on social media after the Chicago Bulls decided to waive him for his recent comments. He called out the NBA for supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and called it “unrighteousness.” He posted an emotional video and said:
“The NBA was everything to me. I didn’t know god. When I came to the NBA I was a fornicator, I was a p*rn addict and I use to get drunk. That’s all I knew. After all those points I felt good… I felt like everything was set out for me”
Ivey’s season has been on and off due to his struggles with injuries, as he played just 30 games last season with the Detroit Pistons. He was traded to the Bulls earlier this season. He was drafted fifth overall by the Pistons in the 2022 NBA draft.
