Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns Preview

Houston comes into this game winners of six straight and eight of their last 10. The Rockets beat the Golden State Warriors 116-115 on Sunday. Kevin Durant led the team with 31 points, along with 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

Much has been said about the Rockets this season but they appear to be peaking at the right time. Their current winning streak has them looking much more like the team everyone is used to seeing. Still, the group knows there’s plenty of work ahead as they aim for a top-four spot to secure home-court advantage. With the Lakers dropping back-to-back games, the Rockets are just two games behind LA and will be looking to capitalize and overtake them in the standings.

The Suns, on the other hand, regained confidence by ending a two-game losing streak with a 120-110 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. Devin Booker led the team with 30 points, while Jalen Green added 25 points.

With the victory, Phoenix sits just three games behind the sixth-place Minnesota Timberwolves for the final playoff spot. Though it’s a long shot given they face the Mavericks, Lakers and other contenders to close the regular season, they need all wins in the stretch for the final push.

Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns Prediction

Kevin Durant and the Rockets are more than capable of leaving PHX Arena with a positive result, but the Suns will pose a big challenge. Jalen Green, who missed the last three games, is expected to have an impact in this matchup. While Durant, who missed the previous game with an injury, will also play a major role. This matchup can still bring out the best and worst on both ends, but on this occasion, the bettors are backing the Suns as 1.5-point favorites, and we also back them to extend their winning streak on Tuesday.
