Draymond Green’s Distance From Warriors-Nuggets Scuffle Completely Shocks Announcers

Draymond Green is notorious for his on-court rumpus with opposing teams, which more often than not is due to his relentless trash talk. Something similar happened during the Golden State Warriors’ last game against the Denver Nuggets. However, Green’s response to the incident shocked everyone, from fans to announcers.

It was just two minutes into the second quarter when a few players from both teams began grabbing each other, and suddenly the scuffle got big. However, announcers were shocked to witness the 4-time NBA champion standing away from the action. Instead, he just stood at the side in conversation with officials. BrickCenter shared the video of the scuffle on X and wrote:

The announcers COULDN’T BELIEVE Draymond Green wasn’t part of the scuffle

“Draymond Green is COMPLETELY AWAY from it! How about that?””

Green, one of the most renowned trash-talkers in the league, seemed to have undergone this change during the team’s recent struggles. The Warriors are without Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler in the lineup, and the only veteran among the starters is Green.

The absence of a veteran presence might have led Green not to act a certain way. Meanwhile, the Warriors lost the game 93-116 after they won the last three.

“I’m sick of play-in,” Draymond Green sounds off on the team’s consecutive play-ins

Draymond Green is sick of play-ins, and he let that be known in a recent episode of ‘The Graymond Green Show,’ where he talked about the team’s performances and their struggles late in the regular season. Expressing his feelings about consecutive play-ins in the last three seasons, the 2016-17 Defensive Play of the Year said:

“The Warriors are bound for play-in, which ultimately makes three years in a row. I am sick of the play-in. It seems like we are a play-in magnet.”

The Warriors are placed 10th and are poised to feature in the play-ins. In their first matchup, they might face the Portland Trail Blazers. However, the good news is that Steph Curry might be back on the roster just at the right time. In his absence, Brandin Podziemski has done a decent job facilitating the offense and helping with the scoring.
