“Don’t Let OG See This”: Fans React to Karl-Anthony Towns’ Cameo Next to Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada

Fans mentioned OG Anunoby while reacting to Karl-Anthony Towns’ cameo in Anne Hathaway’s new movie, “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” Hathaway, a New York Knicks fan, appeared on The Tonight Show to promote her movie and talked about being a Knicks fan.

While describing what kind of fan she is, Hathaway mentioned OG Anunoby, saying

“I am also the kind of fan who considered wearing an OG [Anunoby] jersey here. … I want them to know that I know who they are and that they’re going to win.”

Anunoby finished Game 7 with 29 points, seven rebounds and four steals, shooting 11-for-14. He was a +42 as the Knicks won 140-89. Fans linked his performance to Hathaway, claiming that it was inspired by her comments.

“OG Anunoby balling out for Anne Hathaway,” one fan wrote.

“That boy saw this interview and went crazy tonight,” a fan commented.

After clips of Towns’ cameo in Hathaway’s new movie were shared online, fans reacted by mentioning Anunoby in the comments.

Here are the most noteworthy reactions:

“Don’t let OG see this,” one fan said.

“Where OG at?” one fan asked.

“I bet OG is jealous,” a fan wrote.

The Knicks’ performance in Game 7 broke several records. Their 40-15 lead after the first quarter marked the largest of the shot-clock era. They led by 47 points after two quarters, which is also the largest in playoff history.

How OG Anunoby gave Anne Hathaway her bucket list moment?

Anne Hathaway was sitting courtside in November 2024 as the New York Knicks hosted the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden. At one point in the game, OG Anunoby almost crashed into Hathaway and her son while chasing a loose ball.

The next day, Hathaway posted about the moment on social media.

“Almost got crashed into last night. I have always wanted that to happen. Thanks OG!” Hathaway said.

    “You’re welcome,” Anunoby replied.

Following their win on Friday, the Knicks have advanced to the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs. Their next opponent will be the winner of Saturday’s Game 7 matchup featuring the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics.
