Charles Barkley Surprised as Sydney Sweeney Travels to San Antonio For Knicks

Over the past two games in the NBA Finals, Charles Barkley has seen A-listers wildly cheering for the Knicks inside Madison Square Garden. The Finals have now swung back to San Antonio, and Barkley couldn’t believe his eyes when a certain top-tier actress was seen in the crowd.

As the “Inside the NBA” crew did their pre-game coverage of Game 5, the camera showed various celebrities who’d made their way to Frost Bank Center. Out of nowhere, the Chuckster gave an astonished reaction.

    “Sydney Sweeney is here?”

Sweeney, who is famous for her roles in “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus,” left no doubt regarding the team that she was rooting for. The 28-year-old actress was wearing a shirt that said “New York 11,” a clear reference to All-Star guard Jalen Brunson.

Also in attendance were Knicks die-hards Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, and Fat Joe. With the Knicks holding a commanding 3-1 lead, these celebrities could be celebrating a long-awaited NBA championship when all is said and done in Game 5

In the first two games of this year’s Finals, the Knicks made themselves at home in San Antonio, stealing homecourt advantage by winning Games 1 and 2. Brunson continued to set the tone offensively for New York, while players like Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, and OG Anunoby played their roles impeccably.

In Game 4, Anunoby rocked Madison Square Garden to its core when he tipped in a Brunson miss with 1.2 seconds left. Anunoby’s go-ahead basket allowed the Knicks to seal the biggest comeback in Finals history after they trailed by as many as 29 points.

Jordyn Woods Brings Her “Lucky Bag” to San Antonio as Knicks Look to Close Out Series in Game 5

Meanwhile, another celebrity has brought her good luck charm to Frost Bank Center in the hopes of leading the Knicks to the promised land.

Jordyn Woods, fiancée of Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, was seen bringing her so-called “lucky bag” to the arena for Game 5.

Woods’ bag was supposedly the Knicks’ lucky charm as they went on a tear in the 2026 postseason.
