Anthony Davis Points Fingers at LeBron James as Draymond Green Falls First Victim in Wild New TV Prank Show

Anthony Davis pointed toward LeBron James after Draymond Green questioned his choice to make him the first victim on his new TV prank show.

Davis’ show titled “Foul Play with Anthony Davis” premiered on Monday, with Green becoming the first player to get pranked. So, after Davis joined Green on the “Draymond Green Show” on Monday, the four-time champion was prompted to ask the reason behind his selection.

“Why me? Why me?” Green asked.

Davis answered, saying that picking Green was a decision made by LeBron James.

“LeBron and Rich actually were like, ‘Yo, let’s get Dray.’” Davis said. “I started thinking like, ‘Man, I know how he’s going to react, but it’ll make for a hell of a prank. It will make the show great.’ … ‘We was like, ‘Yo look, you got Rich, you got LeBron and you have Draymond.’”

Rich Paul set up the prank, asking Draymond Green to take a meeting for a potential investment opportunity. Those conducting the meeting were being disrespectful to Green as part of the prank, drawing out an animated reaction from the Golden State Warriors forward.

“I’m going to leave here, because I will f*ck you up,” Green said after being pranked.

Before the situation escalated further, LeBron James and Anthony Davis walked into the room to tell Green that he had been pranked.

Draymond Green could grant the Golden State Warriors their offseason wish

Draymond Green’s $27 million player option for the 2026-27 season has been a topic of much discussion heading into the summer. If Green opts in, the Warriors won’t have a lot of wiggle room in free agency to make any meaningful moves.

However, if he opts out and signs a team-friendly deal, Green could help the Warriors massively, giving the team the cap space required to build a contending roster. During an interview with Tim Kawakami of the San Francisco Standard, Green addressed his player option for next season.

“I think in an ideal world, and again, this is me talking without me talking to my representation so Rich will probably kill me. But in an ideal world, I think the best path would be to decline and extend. If I had it my way, that would be the best path forward,” Green said.

At 36, Green’s player option for next season could be one of his final chances of getting a significant payday. He has played 65 games this season, averaging 8.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Warriors.
