Samantha Busch has shared how her daughter keeps Kyle Busch’s memory alive each morning. The mother of two shared a moving Instagram story capturing the heartwarming moment.
Samantha is raising 11-year-old Brexton Busch and 4-year-old Lennix Key Busch in Denver, North Carolina. She recently accompanied her son in his return to racing after Kyle’s tragic loss.
Her latest post reveals how Lennix is coping with her father’s absence. Samantha’s story shows her daughter having breakfast in front of two Kyle Busch portraits.
“Morning breakfast with Daddy. She wakes up every day, tells him how her sleep was, what she’s doing today and asks if he’s having fun in heaven,” Samantha’s caption read.

Kyle Busch died after a battle with severe bacterial pneumonia that progressed to sepsis. Samantha is still reeling from the loss and is pretty open about her grief.
She recently shared two moments that felt like signs from her late husband.
Meanwhile, Kyle’s brother and former Cup Series champion, Kurt Busch, has become a mentor to Brexton. The Hall of Famer cheered the young driver in his recent race at the Charlotte Summer Shootout.
Samantha Busch shares heartfelt Father’s Day post for Kyle Busch

Samantha Busch recently shared a wholesome clip capturing Kyle Busch’s tender and playful moments with their children. She poured her heart out in a lengthy caption attached to it.
“This still doesn’t feel real at all,” said Samantha, “I was up all night thinking about what today should have looked like for Kyle and the kids. The Father’s Day cards that were already made, sitting in a drawer with no one to give them to. Trying to figure out how to navigate a day that should be filled with so much joy for them.”
“He was the dad who never missed a chance to be silly, race the kids around the neighborhood, wrap them in his arms, or stay up a little longer for one more book, one more question, one more moment. Nothing made him prouder than being Brexton and Lennix’s dad,” she added.
Samantha also wrote how they were lucky to have Kyle Busch in their lives. She vowed to continue telling his stories and keep his memory alive.
On the Cup front, Richard Childress Racing has honored the late driver by retiring his No. 8 signage. The team has announced that the number is now reserved for Brexton Busch.
Austin Hill has taken over Busch’s seat with the No. 33 entry. NASCAR, on its part, has removed Busch’s name from the points standings. The sanctioning body revealed that the decision was made after consulting Busch’s family.
The two-time Cup champion leaves a lasting legacy with 234 wins across all three National Series. The U.S Senate recently passed a bipartisan resolution recognizing his efforts in the sport.
