Legacy Motor Club star Jimmie Johnson took to social media platforms on Tuesday and shared a post about signing autographs at the upcoming NASCAR weekend in San Diego. However, the signing is limited to those who purchase the No.84 Carvana Die Cast. Front Row Motorsports driver Noah Gragson took to X and took a sly dig at Johnson’s autograph policy.
The Legacy Motor Club star shared a post on social media about an autograph session at Coronado, which read,
“Looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and spending some time with fans this weekend. Planning to stop by the autograph session? Be sure to check the details on the graphic. Wristbands are limited and there are a few important guidelines to know.”
However, the fine print on the poster uploaded by Jimmie Johnson revealed only those who buy the die-cast from the Pit Shop will get the wristband for the autograph session.
“Wristband for autograph signing limited to purchasers of 2026 Jimmie Johnson Carvana San Diego die-cast at the NASCAR Pit Shop starting Friday, June 19. Only purchasing customers will get a wristband. Autographs will be limited to only the purchased die-cast and no other items will be signed, while supplies last.”
FRM driver Noah Gragson took to X and fired back at Johnson for the ‘pay to meet’ policy, and highlighted how fans won’t need a wristband to get his autograph.
“Reminder that you don’t need that wristband at our merch hauler. I’ll sign for all of you. No purchase necessary😃,” wrote Noah Gragson
Jimmie Johnson has already announced that he’ll retire from NASCAR after the 2027 Daytona 500. The Anduril 250 at Naval Base Coronado is like one of the last races of his career, and a chance for the fans to meet him at a track.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. reveals Jimmie Johnson’s alter ego ‘Jimmie Jam’

Jimmie Johnson was at the 24 Hours of LeMans this past weekend and joined the radio broadcast. Fans noted how the seven-time NASCAR Cup champion was tipsy given the way he spoke. Dale Earnhardt Jr. responded to the interview, which was uploaded on social media, with:
“I know this guy. His name is Jimmie Jam. You haven’t lived until you have raised hell with Jimmie Jam. What a Legend.”
In the latest episode of Dale Jr. Download, Earnhardt Jr. revealed Johnson’s alter ego as he said,
“Jimmie would never really show his personality or people thought that his personality was super vanilla. But I knew it wasn’t. I’ve been around him. He’s a wild man, liked to party, liked to raise hell, but he just didn’t like to share that with people.”
“I’m not really sure what his reasoning behind keeping his personal life or his true personality is so suppressed. But we used to joke and he would tell, he told me this. He goes, man, when I go party and raise hell, that’s Jimmie Jam. You know, otherwise I’m Jimmie Johnson,” added Dale Jr.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson were good friends even before their time as teammates at Hendrick Motorsports.
