Noah Gragson’s Front Row Motorsports exit concerns silenced by teammate Todd Gilliland

Concerns around Noah Gragson’s future with Front Row Motorsports started circling the paddock after the team members shared a social media post thanking the 27-year-old for all the memories. Many believed that it was hinting at Gragson leaving the team at the end of the year. However, Todd Gilliland came out and silenced the concerns by detailing the reason behind the story.

After Gragson’s photo with a Front Row Motorsports team member was misinterpreted by a fan as a goodbye to the 27-year-old NASCAR driver, his teammate Todd Gilliland responded to the user on June 6, 2026, clarifying that the photographer, Jackson Walker, was leaving the team.

“The photographer is leaving, sad,” commented Gilliland

On Monday, June 8, 2026, a Front Row Motorsports team member, Jackson Walker, uploaded an image on his story where he hugged Noah Gragson. The caption of the story read,

“Thanks for all the memories brother @noahgragson”

The same image was shared across various social media platforms, with many concerned whether it hinted at Noah Gragson leaving.

“Someone sent this to me…looks like one of the members of Team FRM just foreshadowed Noah Gragson leaving the team…..unless he meant he was leaving? 🤔 Not 100% sure and an odd time to post this and use that caption….. Gut feeling Noah goes to RCR in 2027 #NoahGragson ✌️,” wrote a user on X

Gragson joined Front Row Motorsports last year after Stewart-Haas Racing dissolved its NASCAR program. As per the official press release, the Nevada native signed a multi-year contract, and the exact duration of the contract wasn’t revealed.

Noah Gragson had a difficult first year at Front Row Motorsports, finishing 34th in the championship standings. The 2026 season is a slight improvement, as he currently sits 29th in the standings and his teammate Todd Gilliland is 25th.

Riley Herbst, Zane Smith and Noah Gragson grew up racing together, climbing the stock car racing ladder. Like many others, the trio started in legend cars, late models and eventually made it to the NASCAR Cup Series.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Herbst detailed the feeling of the trio making it to the Cup Series, as he said,

“Yeah, it is mind-blowing. It feels like yesterday we were at the Bullring in Las Vegas. The three of us were literally like brothers. One Saturday night we were probably not talking and mad at each other. The next weekend, we were eating pizza on top of Legend cars and showing each other pictures of new NASCAR die-casts we got.”
