“They Aren’t Falling out of Trees”: Brad Keselowski’s Brother Sends Honest Message on Job Uncertainty As 2026 NASCAR Season Nears

NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski’s brother, Brian, has addressed the state of jobs behind the garage as the 2026 season closes in. He also revealed that he wanted to be signed under a full-time spotting deal.

Come 2026, Brian Keselowski, who qualified his family-owned K-Automotive Motorsports entry in the Daytona 500 in 2011, took to X and commented on the state of the full-time jobs in NASCAR.

“That time of year again. Race season going to start ramping up,” Brad Keselowski wrote. “Meanwhile still out there looking for what’s next. Would love to find a full time spotting gig, but they aren’t just falling out of trees either. Either way, I’m sure something will come up soon. Year 31 loading up.”

Since becoming a part-owner of RFK Racing back in the summer of 2021, Brad Keselowski has been driving the team’s No. 6 entry full-time. His most recent win came on May 12, 2024, at Darlington Raceway. This means that Keselowski is currently winless. Last season, he ended up 20th in points with six top fives and 13 top-10s.

It’s not certain if Brad Keselowski will enter this year’s Daytona 500, as the NASCAR veteran is recovering from his recent leg surgery. As per reports, he broke his leg during a ski trip with his family in mid-December.

That being said, fans can watch the 500-mile crown jewel event live on FOX on Feb. 16. Exclusive radio updates will also be available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Brad Keselowski’s RFK Racing Navigates Away From Longtime Sponsor

Ahead of the 2026 season, a rumor has surfaced that RFK Racing, owned by Brad Keselowski, will part ways with Castrol. This is the result of a massive leadership overhaul at the iconic motor oil brand’s parent company, BP.

It all began when BP decided to offload a 65% majority stake in Castrol to Stonepeak under a reported $6-billion deal.

“We concluded a thorough strategic review of Castrol, which generated extensive interest and resulted in the sale of a majority interest to Stonepeak.” said BP interim CEO, Carol Howle. “While BP retained a 35% minority share, control would shift to Stonepeak once the deal closed in about a year, transforming Castrol into a joint venture.”

Through six seasons, Castrol has fueled six NASCAR Cup Series wins and has been backing RFK’s three-car operation. So the news came as a shock to RFK Racing. That being said, they do have other partners like Kroger and Fastenal for the 58th running of the Daytona 500.

As things stand, Brad Keselowski will probably miss the unofficial season-starting race, the Cook Out Clash at Winston-Salem’s iconic Bowman Gray Stadium. Fans can watch the race on FOX or listen to live radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
