    Who Is Keaton Wagler’s Mom?

Keaton Wagler’s mother’s name is Jennifer Wagler, a former basketball player who played at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Jennifer met her husband and Keaton’s father, Logan Wagler, at the state fair in their freshman year. Logan also played basketball from 1992 to 1994.

Logan continued his career at Rockhurst University in Kansas City. The duo welcomed three children, including daughter Brooklyn and son Landon. Keaton was the youngest among the three siblings.

The couple has moved to Lenexa, Kansas, where Jennifer works as a teacher. She remains closely involved with Keaton’s rising college basketball career. Meanwhile, Wagler Sr. is town’s parks and recreation director.

Keaton was raised by Jennifer and Logan in a basketball-centric family. Keaton’s great- grandfather, Al Wagler, played basketball at Hutchinson from 1939 to 1940. According to Hutchinson Collegian, he was also the director of the men’s basketball tournament for two decades. Keaton’s grandfather, William Wagler, also played at Hutchinson from 1966 to 1967.

Keaton’s brother, Landon, also played in the same college till 2023 before moving to MidAmerica Nazarene University. Keaton’s sister, Brooklyn, won the junior college national championship with Kansas City Kansas Community College before her arrival at MidAmerica Nazarene. She now coaches women’s basketball at her alma mater, Shawnee Mission Northwest High School.

There was so much basketball involved around Keaton that it inspired and attracted him towards the sport.

“At a young age, Keaton was watching his older siblings,” Logan told the News-Gazette in January. “He seemed locked in. He could not wait for his turn to start playing. Since the moment he could dribble a basketball, he just loved the game and went all-in on it.”

Last month, Keaton said that he stays in touch with his mother, who is 400 miles away from Illinois, through Snapchat.

“I talk to my mom every day on Snapchat,” Keaton told The Kansas City Star in March 2026. “I think that’s just an easy way for us to check in. You don’t even have to call or anything, but just say hi on snap or whatever. So I talk to my family pretty much every day. She uses a funny filter each day. So it’s fun to see her having fun with it.”

Keaton’s parents try to attend as many of their son’s games as possible. In January, when he dropped 46 points against Purdue, his parents were going to attend the game if not for the snowstorm.
