Ben McCollum is the head coach of the Drake Bulldogs but will take over for the Iowa Hawkeyes next season. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State. McCollum joined them as a graduate assistant under head coach Steve Tappmeyer. He spent two years in the program and helped lead them to just their second Elite Eight appearance in their history.
