Tennessee vs. Alabama Prediction, Starting Lineup And Injury Report Ft. Amari Allen, Aden Holloway

With their respective football seasons already over, Alabama and Tennessee now turn their focus to basketball, where they have not gotten as much success as their football counterparts yet. These two SEC teams faceoff on Saturday, and while the Volunteers continue to back on the development of their freshman forward Nate Ament, Alabama is dealing with the injury bug.

Coming into Saturday’s SEC showdown, five Alabama players are listed as injured, with two of them being starters and possibly missing the game. Meanwhile, Tennessee is a lot healthier coming into the game, with only two players listed as injured. So, which players will be starting the game, and which among them will be out with an injury?

Aden Holloway and Amari Allen are two important scorers for the Crimson Tide, but both have been dealing with injuries and may possibly miss the game. Meanwhile, three more Crimson Tide players have been listed as out, and this may prompt Nate Oats to play the controversial Charles Bediako, who once turned pro before going back to play college ball, to suit up on Saturday.

Reports indicate that the Alabama center, who signed with the San Antonio Spurs and the Denver Nuggets but were released by these two teams, as well as joining the Detroit Pistons training camp before getting released again, will be playing against the Vols on Saturday. Nate Oats has repeatedly defended his decision and will be playing Bediako off the bench.

Tennessee Volunteers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide Prediction

Despite their injuries, Alabama has had the better season so far. The Vols’ star freshman, Nate Ament, has been good but still needs more experience, and the Tide, after their deep run in the national tournament last year, still has plenty to prove, so ‘Bama will be winning this one.
