The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament will be taking place in Pensacola, Florida, and the bracket is now set. Troy is coming in as the No. 1 seed, with Marshall at No 2, Coastal Carolina at No. 3 and App State at No. 4. The winner will not only win the Sun Belt Conference title, but also possibly get an automatic berth in the NCAA National Championship Tournament, better known as March Madness.
No. 13 Georgia State will open the tournament on Tuesday against No. 12 Louisiana, followed by No. 14 ULM taking on No. 11 Old Dominion. The winner of the Louisiana vs. Georgia State game will then take on James Madison on Wednesday, while the winner of Old Dominion vs. ULM will face off against Georgia Southern the very next day.
This highlights the unique bracket that the SBC has, with teams running the gauntlet to win the tournament, with No. 1 Troy and No. 2 Marshall both awaiting whichever teams make it to the semifinals, as they have the most convenient byes in the tournament.

During the various rounds of the game, from March 3 until the semifinals on March 8, the ESPN App will exclusively be streaming the games. However, this changes once March 9 comes along, as ESPN2 will be broadcasting the championship game live from 7:00 EST.
