Dan Hurley’s UConn Huskies are still alive after perhaps one of the most thrilling wins in program history. In a chaotic sequence, the team managed to keep Duke from running out the clock, recover the ball, and send a prayer shot in the final moment to take the final lead.
Dan Hurley’s family was there to see it all, and his wife, Andrea, was forced to jump into mama mode in the heat of the moment. As the chaos unfurled, she admitted in a story posted on Instagram that she told her kids to get off the folding chairs with haste.

“I was yelling at our kids to get off the folding chair before it folded in and they break their legs!!!” she posted.
Of course, with so much going on and so many things to pay attention to, it appears Andrea had her priorities well in hand taking care of the family.
Meanwhile, Dan was focused on handling his basketball family and soaking in perhaps the biggest moment of the playoffs this season. Still, as he would agree, there is work to be done for the coach.
Dan Hurley Gears Up For Even More Important Showdown
While defeating Duke in the fashion the team did would be enough for most teams, Dan Hurley still has the national championship in his sights. Now in the Final Four, his team is one game away from punching its ticket.
The only thing standing in the way is the third-ranked Illinois Fighting Illini. With one more win, Hurley will reach his third national championship in four seasons. At that point, he will have a chance for his third national championship win in as many seasons as well.
Of course, after surviving Duke, the question is how much more stress the unit can take. Can it hold together for two more games?
