Cameron Boozer’s NBA Draft Combine Measurements Come Extremely Close to Stephen Curry’s Teammate

Duke Blue Devils forward Cameron Boozer recently had his measurements from the 2026 NBA Draft Combine released, and they’re eerily similar to those of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry’s teammate. It is a recurring activity at every draft combine where NBA aspirants receive comparisons on their game and physical stature to give team scouts a better idea of what to expect from them.

This year’s combine is underway from May 10 to 17 at two venues in Chicago, Illinois: Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis. Boozer is one of the most highly-touted prospects in the class of 2026 and has the potential to be the top pick eventually. His measurements have gone viral on social media as he stands 6’8 “tall, barefoot, and weighs 252.8 lbs. The young talent also has a 7’1.5 wingspan and 9’0 standing reach.

With this, a post on X/Twitter showcases that Boozer’s measurements are actually similar to that of Warriors center Al Horford during his combine in 2007. In the NBA veteran’s case, Horford’s height was listed at 6’8, barefoot, as well. Their big discrepancy boils down to weight as Horford was only 245 lbs. heading into the league. For his wingspan and standing reach, they were listed at 7’0.75″ and 8’11”, respectively.

With similarities between their measurements, there is much optimism to believe that Boozer can carve out a successful NBA career as Horford is a tried and tested big man for almost two decades now. Horford won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics back in 2024 as a key rotation piece, and possesses five All-Star selections and a 2011 All-NBA Third Team selection to his resume.

If Boozer can take elements of Horford’s game into his own in the NBA, then he can potentially reach the same heights the 39-year-old has. Whether or not he ends up being the first overall pick, Boozer is likely to be selected early in the first round.
