It’s a new era of Kennesaw State Owls football as they join the Conference USA in 2024. As the CUSA continues to realign itself, the level of football played within the conference is certainly much more difficult than anything the Owls have experienced.

In their first season at the FBS level, the Kennesaw State Owls have a variety of challenges to overcome. As they continue to acclimate to the rigors of an FBS schedule, games at UTSA and San Jose State present massive hurdles.
Even their first road game against Sun Belt foe Louisiana is a monumental task to overcome in Year 1. UT-Martin provides a winnable game before conference play begins in early October.

Kennesaw State opens CUSA play against Jacksonville State on Friday, October 4. The Owls then travel to Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky during the midweek portion with a home game against 2023 CUSA Champion Liberty in between.
The month of November appears winnable for Kennesaw State, at least on paper. All four of their opponents will be hoping for resurgent success in 2024 but certainly left more to be desired a year ago.
The 20th annual Conference USA Championship Game will feature the top two finishers in conference play and is set to be played on Friday, December 6. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the CUSA Championship Game.
