Will Isaiah World Attend the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine? Latest Injury Update on Oregon LT

Oregon Ducks left tackle Isaiah World is part of the official invitations list for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. The event will take place in Indianapolis, scheduled for late February to early March 2026.

However, he suffered a lower-body injury in the Peach Bowl loss against the Indiana Hoosiers, putting his availability in question. He missed the Senior Bowl in January.

Will Isaiah World Attend the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine?

According to Dane Brugler of The Athletic, Isaiah World won’t attend the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine after undergoing ACL surgery earlier this month. World reportedly suffered a torn ACL in the game against Indiana last month. However, he is expected to be available for medical re-checks and visits from NFL teams when they come.

World played three years at Nevada before transferring to Oregon for his senior season. In total, over four seasons, he has played 51 games. He earned a selection in Second-team All-Big Ten last season.

    Isaiah World NFL Draft Projection

Because of his latest torn ACL surgery, Isaiah World will probably miss the whole of training camp and the start of the 2026 NFL season.

World’s NFL draft projection views him as a first-round prospect, as he is in the top tier of offensive tackles in the 2026 class. If his pre-draft process goes as well, his projection will prove to be correct.

World’s average draft position (ADP) in several mock draft simulators sits around No. 23 overall.

His elite size (6-8, 318 lb) and length are key traits liked by NFL scouts in offensive tackle. PFF noted that World accrued 29 penalties from 2022-2024 (11 holding, four unnecessary roughness). Here’s his scouting summary via PFF:

“World has the height and length combination that NFL teams would like to see on an offensive tackle scouting report. He has a lot of starting experience from his time at Nevada and will get one more year to prove his talent against better competition at Oregon. While he has the frame, his game needs refinement. He moves well and has quick hands, but he seems a bit out of control at times. His feet aren’t always underneath him for balance and power, and he was called for 29 penalties from 2022-2023. He has the traits but needs more consistency.”

It remains to be seen if his latest surgery derails his draft plans going forward.
