Washington State and Utah State both exceeded expectations this year and now meet in the postseason for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. It will be held at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho, and will be the Cougars’ first Bowl game since the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio in 2018.
The 7-6 Washington State Cougars will be without several players who have opted to enter the transfer portal. They are also dealing with coaching changes and a few injuries. Meanwhile, the 6-6 Utah State Aggies have fewer opt-outs and injuries than their Famous Idaho Potato Bowl opponents.

The Cougars have a ton of players entering the transfer portal heading into the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and they will also be without head coach Jimmy Roberts, who has already left for Iowa State. Instead, defensive coordinator Jesse Bobbit, who has remained with the team, will serve as interim head coach.
Utah State Aggies

Utah State, on the other hand, comes into the game much healthier and with far fewer players transferring. Its coaching staff will be intact, too.
How To Watch The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
The game will take place at the Albertsons Stadium in Boise at 12 noon local time, 11:00 AM PST. ESPN will air and stream the game, with Chuckie Kempf and Darius Walker calling the game live.
Utah State is a -1.5-point favorite, with the over/under set at 49.5.
