Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is quite a household name in the world of American sports. Popularly known as Coach Prime, the legendary cornerback and former Major League Baseball player is now a football coach at Colorado University after starting out at Jackson State University.

How Many Kids Does Deion Sanders Have?
Sanders gave birth to five children. He got married to his first wife, Carolyn Chambers in 1989. Chambers gave birth to two children, Deiondra Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. He got married the second time in 1999 to Pilar Biggers-Sanders, who gave birth to three children: Shiloh Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, and Shelomi Sanders.
Deiondra Sanders
Born on April 17, 1992, Deiondra is Sanders’ eldest child. Deiondra once claimed that growing up as the daughter of a professional athlete was bittersweet. She claimed that she was judged a lot, but she also enjoyed the sweet part as she lived a celebrity life.
In 2019, she became the director of communications for Sc3 Sports Management. She is engaged to American R&B singer Jacquees.
Deion Sanders Jr.
Deion Jr. is Sanders’ first son and was born on Dec. 1, 1993. He took to football just like his father. He played as a wide receiver at Marcus High School, Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta Sports Academy, Georgia. He later played football at Southern Methodist University in Texas.
Deion Jr. later quit football and ventured into fashion. He launched his clothing brand, “Well Off,” in 2016. He also dabbled in music and has released tracks such as “Swaggin,” “Kandy,” and “Money Old.”
Shilo Sanders
Shilo was born on Feb. 9, 2000. He played football and was a safety for the South Carolina Gamecocks for two seasons. He later went to Jackson State University after Deion Sanders became the head coach in 2020.
Shilo earned his degree at Jackson State but still had two years of eligibility. So he followed his father to Boulder after Sanders got the head coach gig at Colorado University. He entered the 2025 NFL draft.
Shedeur Sanders
Arguably the most popular child of Sanders, Shedeur was born on Feb. 7, 2002. He is a star quarterback who has been in the media for a lot of reasons.
Shedeur joined his brother Shilo and their father at Jackson State after initially committing to Florida Atlantic University. He is the first athlete from a historically black college and university to sign a brand deal with Gatorade.
He also went to Colorado with Shilo and Deion Sr. He won the 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. Shedeur is projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Shelomi Sanders
Shelomi is the second daughter and the last child of Deion Sanders. She was born on Dec. 14, 2003. She is also an athlete, as she played basketball at Jackson State. She is currently a junior at Alabama A&M. It was reported that Sanders wasn’t particularly pleased with her leaving Colorado.

With five children already, it is safe to say the Sanders’ house is likely to be full every Christmas. But is Deion Sanders a grandfather? Yes, he is. He has a grandchild from his first child, Deiondra.
