The Genesis Invitational 2026 is set to tee off at the Riviera Country Club in California on Thursday, February 19. The Signature Event, hosted by Tiger Woods, is returning to the iconic venue for the first time in two years after being held at Torrey Pines in 2025. The contest will see a stacked field of PGA Tour golfers compete for the $20 million purse.

Despite the big field, the latest edition of the Riviera event is headlined by Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) No.1 Scottie Scheffler. The four-time major champion enters the contest with three back-to-back top-four finishes, including a win at The American Express. Interestingly, he is currently tied with Tiger Woods for the most consecutive top-four finishes on the circuit with eight since the 2025 Open Championship. The 29-year-old is the outright favorite to win this weekend.

Scheffler starts off his Genesis Invitational campaign with +300 odds, as per FanDuel Sportsbook. The ace golfer also topped the PGA Tour power rankings for the contest, making him the safest pick of the field. Unsurprisingly, World No.2 Rory McIlroy takes the second spot on the odds list with +1100. The Northern Irishman will be eyeing his first big result of the year after marking his season debut with a T14 finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Meanwhile, WM Phoenix Open runner-up Hideki Matsuyama takes the third position on the odds list with +2000 odds. He shares the place with Tommy Fleetwood, who will be eyeing a positive result matching his 2025 Tour Championship win. Interestingly, last week’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner Collin Morikawa sits two places down with +2500, while Xander Schauffele takes a better start position with +2000 odds.

Si Woo Kim (+2700), Matt Fitzpatrick (+3000), Russell Henley (+3300), Cameron Young (+3300) and the event’s defending champion Ludvig Aberg (+3300) are some other top names to watch this weekend.
