    The Genesis Invitational 2026 is teeing off on Thursday, February 19 at the iconic iconic Riviera Country Club in California. The event, second of the PGA Tour season’s Singature Events, will have a stacked field of golfers competing for the $20 million prize purse. The contest hosted by Tiger Woods is being headlined by the likes of Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) No.1 Scottie Scheffler and No.2 Rory McIlroy.

    For the unversed, Scheffler remains the outright favorite to bank big this weekend after a solid T4 finish at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It is pertinent to note that the 29-year-old stands chance to beat Tiger Woods’ record of most consecutive top-four finishes on the circuit. He is now tied with the 15-time major champion with eight. According to GNN, the reigning Open champion is a safe bet for 3.054 points and a price of $14300.

    McIlroy sits second the list while Scheffler’s T4 sharer last week, Tommy Fleetwood completes the top-three. Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Patrick Cantlay, Sepp Straka and Sunday’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner Collin Morikawa are the other notable names on the GNN top-10 list.

The four-time major champion enters the Riviera competition with +300 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The ace golfer is closely followed by McIlroy, who starts the Tiger Woods-hosted event with +1300 odds.

    Xander Schauffele and Tommy Fleetwood follow the top two with +1900 odds each. It is pertinent to note that the American-Brit player duo are yet to make a mark in the new season after a solid 2025 campaign. Phoenix Open runner-up Matsuyama completes the top-five with +2000 odds, while Patrick Cantlay sits behind him with +2500.

    Collin Morikawa (+2700), Russell Henley, Sam Burns (+3000), Si Woo Kim, Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup are other big names to watch this weekend. It is noteworthy that the competition’s defending champion Ludvig Aberg, won the 2025 edition at Torrey Pines, sits outside the top 10 with +4500 odds.
