The Puerto Rico Open 2026 is set to tee off in the Caribbean on Thursday, March 5, alongside the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The first Additional Event of the season, being played at Grand Reserve Golf Club in Río Grande, will see a 120-player field headlined by the likes of PGA Tour winners Michael Brennan and Nick Dunlap.
It is pertinent to note that several of PGA’s top players are teeing up at the Arnold Palmer-hosted event in Orlando. The Signature event’s 72 player field will feature all of the Official World Golf Rankings’ top-10, including platers like Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy as they return to the golf field after sitting out last week’s Cognizant Classic. Owing to this, the Puerto Rico Open will have lesser American Tour regulars this weekend.
World No.45 Brennan is the highest-rated player on the additional event’s field. However, the 24-year-old isn’t the outright favorite to win. European Ryder Cup winner Rasmus Højgaard tops the Puerto Rico Open odds list. The World No.48 Dane, who is yet to register a PGA Tour win, starts in the Caribbean with +1000 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Interestingly, Højgaard is followed by compatriot Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen. The 26-year-old from Niva starts the Puerto Rico campaign to land his maiden PGA Tour win with a +1600 odds. Notably, Brennan sits behind the two Danes with +2000 odds. The 2025 Bank of Utah Championship winner shares the position with Davis Thompson and Ricky Castillo.
Matti Schmid (+2700), Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Adrien Dumont de Chassart, Sudarshan Yellamaraju(+3000), Zecheng Dou (+3300), Kris Ventura, David Ford, Seamus Power, John Parry and Matt Wallace, among others are some other top names to watch this weekend.
