Tiger Woods recently shared that he didn’t know if Brooks Koepka would be competing in TGL anytime soon. He added that while the tech-infused league was adding one more team soon.
On Monday, February 2, Tiger Woods’s team, Jupiter Links GC, was in action against Atlanta GC. While he didn’t compete again, he was present at the SoFi Center to cheer on his team.
During the post-round interview, Woods was asked about the prospect of having Koepka in TGL and on his team in the future.
“I don’t know that part yet,” he said. “Brooks just got his feet wet being back on our TOUR again at Torrey, and he’s playing Waste Management this week. We’ve got one new team next year, and should have two. I don’t know when it’s going to be sewn up or not. But who knows.
“If Brooks is going to be on a team or not on a team, but we have a great team here. My boys here, we’ve had so much fun going back and forth, and these group texts are just awesome,” he added.
How did Tiger Woods team perform at the TGL match against Atlanta Drive?
Tiger Woods’s team, Jupiter Links GC, played a great match against Atlanta Drive GC as they registered an 8-6 win. Atlanta Drive started with wins on the first two holes before Jupiter Links won five straight holes. The team went up 8-2 after winning the hammer bonus on the 12th. Atlanta Drive GC won the 14th and earned three points on the 15th but still fell two points short.
