Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, but he hosted the birthday celebration on Wednesday, January 14. The party featured a number of guests from various fields, and all of them received a customized Upper Deck auto as a memento.

The Tiger Woods birthday bash took place on Wednesday at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. The celebration was also for the official launch of the TGR Foundation’s 30th anniversary campaign.

On Thursday, January 15, golf broadcaster Blaire O’Neal shared a clip of popular TV host Chris Harrison unboxing the special gift from Tiger Woods. The gift was a custom red-themed Upper Deck auto and was specially designed by DC Comics’ Jim Lee. Interestingly, only 415 of these were made and presented during the party.

Earlier, the party started with legendary artist Bon Jovi performing a set in the evening. Top names like Rickie Fowler, Max Homa and Justin Thomas were also present at the evening. Woods’ girlfriend, Vanessa Trump also accompanied the ace golfer on the special occasion.

Tiger Woods signs deal with Arthur Blank

On his 50th birthday celebration, Tiger Woods announced a deal with Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and his foundation, the Blank Foundation. As per the new deal, the duo will work on setting up the TGR lab in Atlanta.

On Thursday, Tiger shared a photograph with Arthur Blank on Instagram and penned a special note.

“I’m excited to partner with my friend Arthur Blank and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation to bring a TGR Learning Lab to Atlanta,” he wrote. “Together, we’ll build on my TGR Foundation’s impact over the last 30 years and provide more students in Atlanta with opportunities to learn, grow, and chase after their dreams.”

Woods is currently busy with the TGL which started in the last week of December. The fifteen-time major champion did not compete in Jupiter Links GC’s debut match on Tuesday, January 13.

For the uninitiated, Woods hasn’t played in any competitive golf event since the PNC Championship in 2024. The star golfer’s last official event was the Open Championship in 2024, where he missed the cut for the fourth time that season.

Woods’s team, Jupiter Links, will be back in action next week and will face Los Angeles Golf Club in their second match. Currently, defending champion Atlanta Drive GC are at the top of the table after winning both their matches.
